FurMark is a Windows programme that can measure your video card’s output using tests based on fur generation algorithms if your video card supports OpenGL 2.0.
FurMark’s algorithms are designed to overheat the GPU (graphics processing unit) in order to test its stability and tolerance to extreme conditions.
FurMark lets you choose the resolution at which the test will be run, whether the test will be run in time or frames, and whether MSAA (Multisample anti-aliasing) will be applied.
NVIDIA Geforce 5,6,7,8 and later video cards, ATI Radeon 9600 or later video cards, and S3 Graphics Chrome 400 series or later video cards are all compatible with FurMark.
